A childs view of how it should be

I always found myself thinking of how old I would be when I got married and had children.  As a little girl I remember thinking that at the age of 20 you were supposed to be married and thinking of children soon after.  Little did I know, that is not the norm for people now a days.  Now people have careers and other crap that they use to put off settling down, acting as if it is a disease or death sentence that one should want to avoid for as long as possible.  As a doctor would say to a fading patient, "you have a month to live"... that is the feeling commonly felt of marriage.  Crappy to grow up and realize that marriage isn't so romantic anymore.  Not knowing just how much my misconception was spot on for me, I became pregnant at 21.
